Shipping policy
At Inga Fashion Design, each piece is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail in Los Angeles. We want your luxury accessory to arrive safely and in perfect condition.
PROCESSING TIME
Made-to-Order Items: Please allow 7-10 business days for production before shipment. Each bag is individually crafted and inspected to ensure it meets our standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Ready-to-Ship Items: Orders placed for in-stock items will be processed and shipped within 2-3 business days.
Processing times do not include shipping transit time. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
SHIPPING METHODS & RATES
We ship via UPS from our Los Angeles studio to ensure reliable, trackable delivery.
Standard Shipping (UPS Ground): 3-5 business days - Expedited Shipping (UPS 2nd Day Air): 2 business days
All shipments include:
- Full tracking via UPS
- Up to $100 insurance coverage
- Signature required upon delivery for your protection
DOMESTIC SHIPPING (U.S.)
We currently ship to all 50 states. Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete.
We cannot ship to:
- P.O. Boxes (UPS Ground requires a physical street address)
- Freight forwarding addresses
For Alaska and Hawaii shipments, please allow additional transit time. Standard shipping to these states typically takes 5-7 business days.
SHIPPING ADDRESS
Please provide a physical street address where someone will be available to sign for the package. UPS requires an adult signature (21+) for all deliveries due to the value of our handcrafted pieces.
Important: We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Address changes after shipment may incur additional fees from UPS.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International shipping is not currently available. We hope to expand our shipping options in the future.
ORDER TRACKING
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with:
- UPS tracking number
- Direct link to track your package
- Estimated delivery date
You can track your package in real-time at ups.com or through the link in your shipping confirmation email.
DELIVERY & SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT
All deliveries require an adult signature. If no one is available to sign:
- UPS will leave a notice and attempt delivery again
- After 3 delivery attempts, packages are returned to us
- You can redirect the package to a UPS Access Point location for pickup by contacting UPS directly
Delivery Timeframes: Transit times are business days only and do not include weekends or holidays. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees.
SHIPPING DELAYS
While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, we are not liable for shipping delays caused by:
- UPS carrier delays or service disruptions
- Weather conditions or natural disasters
- Customs processing (if applicable in the future)
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses
- Failure to be available for signature
- Events outside our control
Once we transfer your order to UPS, title and risk of loss passes to you.
DELIVERY ISSUES
Packages Marked as Delivered But Not Received: If UPS tracking shows your package was delivered but you did not receive it:
- Check with neighbors or household members
- Look around your delivery location (porches, side doors, garages)
- Contact UPS at 1-800-742-5877 within 24 hours
- File a claim with UPS if the package cannot be located
We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by UPS. However, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.
Damaged Packages: If your package arrives visibly damaged:
- Refuse delivery or note the damage with the UPS driver
- Take photos of the damaged packaging and item
- Contact us immediately at ingadesign.orders@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery
- Do not discard packaging materials
Lost Packages: If your package is lost in transit, please contact us at ingadesign.orders@gmail.com. We will work with UPS to locate your package or file an insurance claim on your behalf.
Undeliverable/Returned Packages: If a package is returned to us due to:
- Incorrect address provided
- Refused delivery
- Multiple failed delivery attempts
You will be responsible for the cost of reshipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We will contact you to arrange reshipping and payment.
CARE UPON ARRIVAL
Each bag includes:
- Specific care instructions card
- Dust bag for storage
- Product authentication certificate
Please inspect your item immediately upon delivery. Our bags feature decorative safety pins, crystals, and embellishments that require proper care. Follow all care guidelines to maintain the integrity of these elements.
ORDER CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
Before Shipment: If you need to change your shipping address or cancel your order, contact us immediately at ingadesign.orders@gmail.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but cannot guarantee changes once production has begun.
After Shipment: Once your order has shipped, we cannot change the delivery address. You may contact UPS directly to request delivery changes, which may incur additional fees from UPS.
PEAK SEASON SHIPPING
During peak holiday season (November-December), please allow:
- Additional 2-3 days for processing
- Additional 1-2 days for delivery
- Higher shipping volumes may cause delays beyond our control
We recommend ordering early during the holiday season to ensure timely delivery.
